Your way to growth and change

  • “I feel anxious and scared all the time”
  • “I feel like the world’s on my shoulders”
  • “My partner and I just can’t get on anymore”
  • “I feel so stuck.. I think I’m going crazy!”
  • “I want to feel more confident”
  • “I want to get a better work life balance”

There are times when we reach a cross roads and we don’t know which way to turn, we don’t know if we’re on the right path or even if we’re going in the right direction. You may feel constantly tired and that you’re always supporting others first, putting yourself last. If this is you it’s time to invest in the three ‘C’s, choice, chance and change. It’s time to choose someone to support you as you take the chance to change your life.  Maybe it’s help to decide what the right path is for you, or perhaps it’s talking about concerns and being understood. If you’re looking for a counsellor and one who’s a bit different from the rest, is down to earth and believes that humour can have a place in therapy, someone who will really listen and work with you as you become the person you want to be, then you’re in the right place.

My absolute passion is the belief that you can be the person you want to be, living the life you want to live.  If this is you then don’t hold back or wait any longer. There is no obligation involved during our initial contact and we can chat as to what’s the best way forward for you.

My name is Wendy Pritchett and I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor of Transactional Analysis and an approved therapist for Anxiety UK & Health Assured offering counselling and psychotherapy in St Leonard’s.

I counsel individuals, couples, families and groups in person or online. I’m experienced in working with clients and families living with life changing/limiting diagnosis & Acquired Brain Injuries, or who are simply just trying to find a way of living together whilst navigating relationship challenges. I’m a  Senior Bereavement Counsellor & Trainer at my local hospice and  an approved NCFED practitioner supporting those affected by Eating Disorders.

I’m experienced in supporting parents and families affected by pregnancy and neonatal loss, infertility and who are thinking about, or undergoing IVF treatment. For those who are navigating parenthood/childcare and finding it challenging from different perspectives, I can be that catalyst helping you to find common ground and see some light at the end of the tunnel whilst being thoroughly exhausted! I am a former Counselling Skills, Mindfulness and Self Esteem tutor at a local college

You can choose if we work together for as long as you need to or for just a few sessions. However long or short that is, I really look forward to knowing you and sharing your journey and if your particular concern is not listed, contact me to see if I can help.
